AUTHOR: SheiBrad Pitt Reacts To Oscar Nominations: Full Nominees List
After taking his career in a different direction this past year, Brad Pitt’s Oscar nominations shows that he still has what it takes to be at the top of Hollywood’s finest.
This morning the actor was announced as a nominee for his producer work and leading role in this year’s baseball flick “Moneyball”.
In addition, his film “Tree of Life” got an Oscar nod for Best Picture.
Brad called into the “Today” show and couldn’t have been happier about “Moneyball” being included in the Oscar running.
He dished, happily;
“We’re ecstatic over here. It means so much considering this film was just dead on the rocks two years ago,” he said from Los Angeles. “It took a lot of people to get it to the screen. It’s a great honor. I’m really happy.”

AUTHOR: SheiLL Cool J Is The Host Of 2012 Grammy Awards!
Announcing an official host for the first time in nearly a decade, the 2012 Grammy Awards have named legendary rapper LL Cool J to helm the live broadcast next month.
The two-time Grammy Award winning artist has hosted the event’s live nominations concert every year since 2008, but this is the first time LL will take shift his duties to the big show itself
“I’m thrilled to be part of Music’s Biggest Night. I will always have fond memories of my first Grammy Awards and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true,” LL said in a statement.
The awards set to air February 12 on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT, the 54th Grammy Awards will feature performances by Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj, etc.

Coming together to honor the year’s best in cinema, the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards winners have officially been named.
Held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday evening (January 15), Ricky Gervais tended to hosting duties while “The Descendants” was named as Best Drama Motion Picture and “The Artist” ended up taking home the top prize of Best Comedy or Musical Motion Picture.
Big winners at the Golden Globe Awards were George Clooney, who was named as Best Actor for his effort in “The Descendants” while Meryl Streep was doted with Best Actress honors for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in “The Iron Lady”.
Television’s top accolades went to “Modern Family” as Best Comedy TV Series and “Homeland” as Best Drama TV Series.
